Welcome to the second segment of the EPA CARE Program Grant Writing Tutorial.  This segment of the tutorial presents 14 modules covering each of the items required in the CARE RFP for a Level I Cooperative Agreement proposal.  These have been arranged in the order that matches the content, sequencing and formatting requirements detailed in the CARE RFP.  The blue font bullets signify where evaluation points are allocated.

After completing the modules in this section you will have:

  • A working draft proposal that you created and saved to your computer that you can finalize "off line"

  • Application checklists to use to continue writing and managing your proposal to meet the submission requirements and deadline

  • Identified and included information within your proposal that addresses the requirements of each section of the CARE RFP, including the introductory documents, forms, narratives, budget, appendices and attachments

  • Identified and included information that addresses key evaluation criteria in the sections that have points allocated to them

  • Identified and included attachments and appendices to effectively substantiate your proposal
